The Health Care Program
The health care of the participant members is monitored by a licensed Registered Nurse with a BAS in Nursing and extensive experience in geriatric care. She is responsible for the overall day-to-day medical oversight of the Center according to State Licensing regulations and Health Department policies and procedures. She supervises the staff and conducts admission assessment conferences. The RN observes and monitors the participant member's health status and medications and assists with any treatments needed ensures compliance with the plan of care and established policies and procedures.
Cambridge House conducts a comprehensive assessment of each individual enrolled in the adult day health care program to determine and plan the health care services needed to meet the individual's specific health and social needs. Services provided at the center include medical services, nursing services, physical, occupational and speech therapy, psychiatric and psychological services, social services, planned recreational and social activities, hot meals and nutritional counseling and transportation to and from the center.
