Our Offer
The Cambridge House Enrichment Center is designed to provide innovative learning and creative services to adults. We enrich the lives of adults with memory and judgment loss, specializing in high-quality compassionate care to members of our community with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia and other functional disabilities. The primary goals of Cambridge House are to provide relief to the caregiver, maintain the quality of life for our guests, and delay nursing home placement.
This program is designed to address individual needs in a highly structured, closely supervised, and protected environment. Every effort is made to help each client maintain an optimum level of independence. Social interaction and emotional support are provided for the client while the caregiver receives a needed respite.
Programs
Cambridge House Enrichment Center Adult Day Social/Health Program is designed to address the individual social, rehabilitation and health needs of functionally disabled adults.
The social and health day program is structured to help functionally disabled individuals maintain an optimum level of independence and delay institutional placement.
Cambridge House provides extended support to families and caregivers of its members through education and support groups with topics specific to adults with functional disabilities.

As an adult day care provider, Cambridge House offers caregivers an alternative to nursing home care. It is an affordable option to assisted living facilities and in partnership with home health care provides homebound individuals with a balanced range of medical, social and emotional support.
Cambridge House provides a wide-range of activities and a safe place to spend the day while the caregiver is working or needs time away, called respite.

Personnel
Program Director – Coordinate, implement and supervise all programs and services of CHEC. The program director is at the center during all times of center operation and acts as the Administrator.
Registered Nurse – Assesses each participant to determine needs for personal care and assistance in activities of daily living. Provides health education and counseling for the participants and monitors health status. Tracks and records participants’ health improvement, conducts monthly RN supervisory visits, and is on call when needed. Over sees personal care of members.
LPN – Supervises personal care of members and monitors health status. Observes member's functional level and reports to the RN any changes in the member's physical condition and needs.
Activity Coordinator – Plans coordinate and carries out activities for members based on their varied backgrounds, problems, needs and enjoyment and assists in maintaining all records relating to activities.
Personal Care Assistant – Provides supportive services to the participants under direction and supervision of RN as assisted by the Program Director.
Activity Assistant – Assist the program director, RN and Activity coordinator in the implementation of the activities program designed to address the members' social, emotional, cognitive, and vocational needs.
Staff/client ratio is 1 to 6 or 1 to 4 clients, depending on level of care.
